Huawei Honor 7i camera

In this article we’ll take a closer look at the Huawei Honor 7i camera specs and feature and see if there is a reason to be excited about.  The first thing you notice about the Honor 7i camera is that is has a flip-up design. This is  similar flip-up mechanism as the OPPO N1 and Oppo N3 phones, but the 7i camera module is slimmer have vertical design, whether the N1 has an horizontal design.

This is a simpler design that is more streamlined with the phone’s elegant and slim design as you can see in this Honor 7i official promo trailer belo.

Due to this unique design, there is not need for a dedicated front-facing camera because the camera rotates on the X-axis; the rear camera is the front camera as well. There are several advantages of this mechanism. The first one is that you can enjoy a high-quality camera for the shooting selfies. Huawei could put a greater deal of effort and money in developing a single very high-quality camera, instead of having to cameras that might lead to the second camera to be of a lesser quality.

Another great advantage of the rotating lens is that you can easily capture low-angle shots by positioning the phone parallel to the surface and rotating the camera 90 degrees. It works the same like having a digital camera ith a tilting display, but in this case the camera body is that small module and the tilting display is the phone itself.

Some people have issues with the flip design because it’s seems like it’s a part that can easily break.  I personally prefer  “no moving parts”, but in my opinion the pros outweigh the cons.

The Huawei Honor 7i camera specs are as follows:

  • Innovative 180° rotating lens design
  • Sony 13-megapixel Back-illuminated image sensor (max 4208×3120 image resolution)
  • 28mm (35mm equivalent) f/2.0 aperture lens
  • 5-lens elements (5P lens, 5 plastic lenses)
  • Color temperature  dual-LED flash
  • Sapphire crystal lens cover (anti-scratch)
  • ISP advanced image processing (better low-light performance with less noise)

  • 1080p Full HD video recording
  • 4A support (Automatic exposure, white balance, face recognition and smile shutter)
  • New Multi-frame algorithm
  • Instant shooting using the side fingerprint sensor (minimize hand-shake blurry images)
This fingerprint sensor is also used to unlock the phone. hat a great place to place it.
  • 5.2-inch 1920×1080 pixels / 424 ppi IPS LCD display with glove support
The screen can be used to brighten your selfies when shooting in low-light conditions or as to fill in shadow areas for smoother even look
  • Image effects
  • MicroSD card comparability
  • Digital Zoom / watermarks / panoramic images / continuous shooting / voice-activated camera / timelapse
  • 3100 mAh Battery

The Huawei Honor 7i is equipped with an impressive rotating camera. There is not mention of an optical image stabilization (OIS) in the Honor 7i. This Swiveling camera module looks better than the other implementations and has its on advantages. It’s not the top-of-the-line camera out there, but certainly a very respectable one for a high-end device. The phone runs on Android 5.1 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core SoC with 2 or 3GB of RAM.
